Charles River
The Charles River is Norfolk’s natural border along the North West corner and a wonderful recreation resource. Take a canoe trip and enjoy some spectacular scenery!
Local Golf
Enjoy day or evening of golf at Norfolk’s own executive par 3 Fore Kicks Golf Course, or play a round of 18 at the Glen Ellen Country Club in neighboring Millis. There are many other public courses within an easy 30 minute drive.
Stony Brook Wildlife Sanctuary
Norfolk’s hidden gem is just 5 minutes driving time from The Village at River’s Edge. Take a leisurely stroll on Stony Brook’s extensive boardwalk system along the edge of Teal Marsh for a wonderful view of turtles, fish, and great blue herons. Enjoy the wildlife and the awesome scenery!
Norfolk Town Library
In October 2005, Norfolk opened its new 23,000 sq ft state of the art library. Enjoy quiet reading rooms, wireless internet and adult & children programs. A 125 guest community meeting room is also available for residents’ use.
Norfolk Senior Center
Open weekdays from 9 am to 4 pm, the Norfolk Seniors Center is a home away from home, and a great place to meet and enjoy the company of friends. The 7,000 sq ft facility hosts a wide array of scheduled programs including crafts, card games, dancing, swimming and Tai Chi.
Gillette Stadium
Located in the neighboring town of Foxboro, Gillette Stadium is home of the 3 time Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots and of the New England Revolution soccer team. A quick 15 minutes drive from The Village at River’s Edge. Take in a football or soccer game, or enjoy an outdoor summer concert at Gillette Stadium!
